House of 1000 Corpses
2003
Rob Zombie

Rob Zombie has almost single handedly brought the 70's horror film back to life
with "House of 1000 Corpses," a stylish and often brilliant homage to Hooper,
Craven et all.

4 college kids on a road trip stumble across Captain Spalding's fried chicken
and gas establishment (and of course the museum of horrors). Spaulding
(brilliantly played by b-movie great Sid Haig) tells them how to get to an
infamous landmark owing itself to the evil Dr. Satan.
Of course their car breaks down in the middle of a storm and they end up at a
house inhabited by one hell of a freaky family who show them the hilarious
side of torture and mayhem whilst merely being prepped for their inevitable
meeting with the good Doctor.

The DVD has lots of great features, so if you havent already, check out
