If you've ever seen old black and white footage of aboriginals in large canoes
wearing incredible animal costumes and dancing around wildly, its probably a
scene from this movie.
In this film, Curtis retold a tribal story of love and revenge among the Kwakiutl
tribe of Vancouver Island. Edward Curtis lived with the Kawakiutl tribe on
Vancouver Island for 3 years, the culmination being the making of this film which
is a ficitionalized account of life before contact with any other races.
This is a stunning movie folks, I highly recommend checking it out.

NIGHT FOR NIXIE - 2003


Naturally I'm going to yak about my own movies, that being said
you should check out my last feature film "Night For Nixie," currently
Custom Flix on DVD for a mere 14.95! Cheap I tells ya, cheap!

Its a creepy and rather kinky tale of mutants, shady escorts and even shadier government figures who do their damndest to screw up detective Lee Bowers day.
At the center of it all is a rather large (and hungry) spider which escapes from a genetics research lab and wreaks havoc in a sleepy little northwest town.
If you like conspiracy-paranormal oriented shows like the X-Files, this movie is for you.

Dr. Caligari - 1989

starring Madeleine Reynal, David Parry (Malibu driver in "Repo Man") Laura Albert and John Durbin (superb actor, had a minor recurring character in "Max Headroom").
Directed by Stephen Sayadian (this is the cat who made the XXX classics "Cafe Flesh" and "Night Dreams.")

From the box cover: "Meet the surrealistic psychiatrist with the camp couch, Dr. Caligari. Not only do i dare you to watch this twisted R rated erotic horror-comedy masterpiece, i dare you to find it!! Yep, been out of print for years with no plans for a dvd release that i know of, but keep a lookout for this gem. (note: i did find a vhs copy on ebay, i noticed they pop up there from time to time)
